A REALLY WHITE WEDNESDAY

IT'S SNOWING IN CENTRAL TEXAS.  THIS IS THE THIRD TIME FOR ME IN ABOUT 18 YEARS. IT HAVE BEEN SNOWING IN OTHER PARTS MORE TO THE NORTH, BUT FOR US COUNTRY FOLK IN THE CENTRAL AREA THIS IS BIG.  THE KIDS GOT OUT OF SCHOOL EARLY AND MY HUSBAND WAS HOME BY 11:00 THIS MORNING, TOMORROW IS MOSTLY BACK TO NORMAL, UNLESS SOMETHING CHANGES TONIGHT. IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND SERENE TO SEE IT SNOW. I KNOW THAT MOST OF YOU ARE SICK OF ALL THE SNOW, NOT HERE IN TEXAS. THAT IS NOT DENYING  THAT WE ARE ALL READY FOR SPRING AND SOME GREEN.

LET'S TALK ABOUT THIS LITTLE GIRL. I PAY 10.00 FOR HALF OF HER SINCE SHE WAS BROKEN WAIST DOWN. I FELL IN LOVE WITH HER SWEET FACE AND DECIDED I WILL RESCUE HER SOMEHOW.

I FOUND A CUTE BAG THAT GOT STAINS ALL OVER IT. I USED LACE AND MOD PODGE TO DECOPAGE THE LACE AND DISGUISE THE STAINS. IT TURN OUT PRETTY GOOD. THEN I THOUGHT THAT I CAN STASH HER BODY IN THE BAG.  I DIDN'T GLUE HER IN PLACE SINCE I MIGHT USED HER DIFFERENTLY IF SHE DOESN'T SELL QUICKLY. I MADE A TAG, HER CLOTHES AND VOILE!

I LIKE HER A LOT, LIKE A LOT, LIKE HOARDING HER.

JUST SOME SNOW, ENOUGH FOR MY TO STAY HOME AND PLAY.

OK , THIS LADY WAS A LLADRO FIGURINE I BROKE THE OTHER DAY. I CAN NOT BRING MYSELF TO TRASH HER SINCE HER TORSO SURVIVED IN ONE PIECE. I DECIDED TO ALTERED HER AND MAKE A  TRI-DIMENSIONAL COLLAGE. HER HAT AND DRESS TURN OUT REALLY PRETTY. IT'S A BIG PIECE ABOUT 18 INCHES TALL. THE PICTURES DON'T DO HER ANY JUSTICE. I HAVE STARTED TO CRAFT AGAIN THANKS TO ALL THE INSPIRATION IN THE BLOGS. THERE IS SOME SERIOUS TALENT OUT THERE.

WELL FRIENDS THIS IS ALL FOR THIS WW. THANKS TO OUR HOST MS KATHLEEN @ FADED CHARM. YOUR COMMENTS MEAN A LOT TO ME, SO LEAVE ME A WORD WHEN YOU VISIT. BLESSINGS, MARTA.
