randomness and a prayer request

Hello friends. It had been so long.  Life happens, the good , the bad and everything else. Last Sunday after weeks of travels and really busy times at the shop I was experiencing my first day with nothing schedule in the agenda. It felt weird, I just almost never get those kind of days. I slept until 9:00 and sat at the computer thinking I get to do nothing for a day. I got a phone call from my mom, which immediately freaks me out since that mama never calls, I do all the calling. Well , my beloved nephew Neithan was admitted to the PICU with a bad pneumonia. It had been almost a week and baby Neithan is not improving. I spend last night with him and my brother and let me tell you it breaks my heart. He looks so weak and tired. I have been praying for a miracle. He suffers from SMA which is a rare form of muscular dystrophy. Medically he is not expected to make it beyond his teenager years but he had been deteriorating at a faster pace. My heart aches since I went through something similar with my son for 13 years. I know that God is able so I rest in that. Please, prayer warriors help me pray for Neithan and the rest of the family. We need all the prayers we can get.

On a lighter note I took a couple of pictures of the show in Cleburne. We found loads of great stuff and got the best weather on Friday.
If you like roses that was the place to find some very rare ones.

I like the Cleburne show the best because it is not as overwhelming as the Roundtop show.

This was Robelyn  from Redneck chic booth. Her purses are to die for.

Want, want, want. I beg my husband for this one, he would not budge. So no pretty purse for Marta.

One last story, I don't know if this will turn out to be a happy one. Buyers remorse big time. I came across this guy with a trailer full of beautiful fabrics. I only spend  60.00. We started to talk and he said he got 500 rolls of fabric and asked me if I was interested in buying in bulk. I told him I will consider the deal. Well, he called me Monday as agreed and I told him I was not going to go for it. I did not have the space nor the thousands of dollars he wanted for his 500 rolls. He asked me what was comfortable for me to be money and number of rolls wise. I proposed 250 rolls @ half the amount and the chance to pick and choose. He decided to go ahead and do it. Oh my God, what have I done! I got to the store with a bed stacked to the sky and the cabin of the truch full of lace and ecru tones fabrics. I was sick to my stomach from just looking at the mess. It took 2 more friend to just unload the fabric in the back. You should have seen their faces, you know, the "she just lost it" face. I did! I'm not in the textile business
nor I have a clue what to do with so much fabric. I already sold 100.00 worth of fabric but it will take me forever to sell the rest plus the storage problem is bad. One thing though, the fabrics are to die for. So friends, take pity on me and come buy me out of this mess. Troy, Robelyn, Daphne and the rest of the gifted designers, come and rescue me, PLEASE!!!!!!
I will be posting pictures of the fab fabrics soon, life permits. Blessings, Marta.
