A day of shopping in Cleburne

Ah...my favorite time of the year. The big shows, one after the other, shoppers paradise. I love the Cleburne show because is not as overwhelming as the Roundtop show. Not that been overwhelm will ever keep me away. This year many of my favorite vendors didn't show so I was a little sad about that. It was so hot, I spend the day trying to stay hydrated, not a very good job at that.

This was my favorite booth. I promised myself I was going to be a good girl, hum, I still managed to buy two bears and some other stuff from the booth. What i really wanted was the most awesome couch full of pillows. It was 350.00. Too much for me.

When we went downtown we came across a shabby chick girl with the most beautiful stuff. I want verything, walked away with 3 pieces.

She is the one I really wanted, the dealer will not part with her. Can you blame me?

Well friends, it will be until Roundtop on Friday before I can post again. I'm planing on posting for Pink Saturday which I have not done for a while. I can't wait to visit with the pink girls. Blessings, Marta.

you, dear marta, are a better woman than me. that's for darn sure. i can NOT take this heat. i know it's slightly cooler than before but yikes, it's still way too hot.

also, i didn't even know there was such a thing as the cleburne show! looks like a lotta fun though.

i agree! that lil doll head thingy is tooooo adorable! why'd the vendor have her on display if she wasn't for sale?! that really messes with my already screwy mind.

anyway, the main thing i wanted to say is that i'm sooo happy to see that you're out on the junkin' trail again. you've been working so dang hard on your house/shop/move that you haven't had much time for junkin fun.

also ... sorry i didn't make it out on saturday. :( i never even got out of my jammies. just one of those sinker days that i have from time to time.

take care and enjoy your new toys!!

hugs,
