Loving my screened-in porch

When we  saw the new house for the first time we thought we knew everything that was there. We knew about the two extra shops, one for me and one for my DH. We knew about the land and the oak trees all over the place. The one thing we did not know about was the most amazing surprise. The old owners have build a screened-in porch and it was not in the listing info. When I open the back door  I was delighted to see it. I knew that I was going to have the most wonderful time decorating it. I have done 90% of my decor in the new house very monochromatic. I knew I was going to use my colors in the porch since I wanted it to be cozy and happy. It has been so hot that this morning was the first time I actually sat and enjoy a cup of coffee in there. It has been raining for the last 3 days and it was really dark. The sun came back around 2:00 and it is beautiful outside right now.

I call this side my husband side since his beloved grill is there. He will spend Sundays doing barbecue of different kinds of meats. He is missing that since all we have been doing is work on getting the shop ready.
I missed my plants. The old house was landscaped really nicely. At this time we can't even think about gardening. I was told I need to plant in the fall for next spring.

                                                                     The way it was.

Take care my friends, till next time, Marta.

Oh Marta - it is lovely. I have to say - you, me and Liz are lovers of that P.Kaufmann fabric that you have on your cushions. I have bolts of that stuff- love it and am doing my cushions on my front porch in it for fall and winter.
I am glad you have been so busy -it means pictures of the new shop will come soon.
take a look at my booth I opened on Sept 1st.
