Wonderful trip

Last Thursday I decided to go in a scavenger hunt. I sold a couple of big display pieces so I was kind of desperate. The place I wanted to visit the most was closed for inventory restock so I decided to just drive around and hope. We stop at my friend's Amy store. This is without a doubt one of the most beautiful stores in all Texas. Every single detail have been address and every nook is  beautiful and so well thought off. I can stay hours in this store. After visiting Amy's store I just wanted to come home and decorate, her store is so inspiring. If you ever make it to Waco TX, you must make stopping at Bloom and Bee Swanky a must. Don't you just love that name? See and tell me what you think.

Amy makes the most amazing clothes for her Santos and body forms out of coffee filters and paper.
If you have visit my blog before you all know I'm a doll collector. This are all just dreamy.

Wouldn't you love to have a headboard like that?

Lace everywhere. If you like the romantic style this is the place to come.
Find Amy at beeswanky.com or if you are in Texas her store is by the Dr Pepper Museum at 210 South 5 th ST. Waco, TX.

I wanted to include one last picture of my latest project. I found this apothecary in San Antonio over the weekend. We were supposed to be shopping for the shop but I don't think I want to part with this one for now. Can you blame me? See the potential? She just need a makeover  and I think she will clean up well. I clean the last 4 drawers in the bottom left and I can see the difference. I don't necessarily have the space, I'm going to make it fit. The bottom piece was all green like the bottom drawer. I have been sanding for the last 2 days and still have ways ahead of me. I will show you the after picture as soon as I get it done. I also found tons of beautiful things over the weekend in San Antonio. I will post those in days to come. Thanks for stopping and visit and your comments mean so much to me. Visit the other White Wednesday participants  @ http://fadedcharmcottage.blogspot.com. Thanks to Ms Kathleen for hosting such awesome party every week. Blessings, Marta.

Marta, you made me laugh when you said you couldn't part with that treasure. Amy's store is just beautiful, no doubt about that, and don't forget she has a blog too: http://beeswanky.blogspot.com/ that your readers can visit. Will you possibly come out to the Red Barn on the 15th. I believe you are already having a good year with your finds.

I love Bloom and Bee Swanky. Heck when I was there in April I even bought a tshirt which I wear all the time here in NC with people asking me where the store is. She should franchise- I'd buy one..haha
I can't wait to come out in June and see her and you and many more of my blog buddies stores.
Hurry Texas- I can't wait.

Oh my gosh this store is beautiful! I wish I could shop here with you, Unfortunately I am NOT from Texas, nor do I live there. Born and raised in Washington State. Sissie must have thought we were Texans due to the cowboy boots on our feet. We just have a little cowgirl in our soul I think! Have a great week and I look forward to seeing your new pieces when you get them placed.
