My new location!

I have worked overtime for the last week or so in order to be able to accomplish this window, sorry about the glare in all the photos, it was half hour after closing time and I didn't want to over do it in my first day there. In case you don't know I have been a shop owner for over a decade and recently moved my home and my shop to the country side. My loyal costumers have followed me there but I'm very interested in making new friends. That is the reason why I decided that opening a second location downtown Belton was a great strategic move. Then to make things better I was offer the window in the best mall in town. I jumped on that one since this little town and its people have my heart anyway. The vendors in this mall were very friendly and welcoming today, they know me as a costumer now they get a taste of my good junk. I still going back on Friday to add dishes and some details to the window. I want to incorporate fabric in the window to soften it up.

I promise I will take better pictures from the inside, minus the glare. I would say not so shabby for one days work.
Got to do something about the blue floors. I'm already brainstorming on that one.

Something new, blogger will not let me download pictures unless I buy space. I thought blogger was free. It is not a lot of money but it didn't let me post all my pictures for this post. Then it says it will take a day or so to go thru. Humm, I just didn't know. I'm off to visit with Ms. Kathleen @ Faded Charm and her White Wednesday party. Blessings, Marta.

The window is looking so pretty! I hope to come visit both your locations sometime soon! I've heard about that... the blogger wanting you to pay when once you have used up a certain amount of space which is easy to do when you love to use lots of pretty photos like we do! I'm always worried about when I will be informed that I must start paying.

You are doing this and your own shop? You are a consummate multitasker! Are you still doing your shop?
I think it looks beautiful. I kinda like the blue floor, it adds contrast but I can see how you might want to add a rug or something to soften it. Are you allowed to paint it?

I agree with another of your commenters about blogger. When you upload pictures to your blog, the put them in something called a Picasa Web Album. They only allow you so much space and then they charge you for more space. I think it's a one time fee. I haven't gotten there yet!

Good luck with your new space, I know you will be a great success, you do such beautiful displays!

Congrats on having a window to display your things in. When you mention Belton, I was hoping you meant Missouri and I could come see you. But Texas is a little out of the question. Blogger wouldn't let me post pictures the other night and I gave up trying. Take care and Good luck. a Missouri Friend.

Sweet friend,
Whatever you put your hand to and heart into will be successful because your heart first is for God. His gift to you is your talent for taking anything and making it beautiful, you give that back 10 fold. Congratulations on the new exposure. Love and hugs.

Love your shop! I had the same problem with Blogger and my pictures this weekend. $5 a year is not bad though.

That is a lovely window, and I know it will bring folks in for sure. I need to get back out to Belton some time soon.

maybe you need to size your pics down. I've never had blogger ask me for money. Try changing your password and see if that helps, you might have been hacked.

Hey Marta, funny that you comment, I was just thinking about you this morning. I was wondering how your shop was going, but I guess you answered that question. I'm no expert but I have to agree with your hubby. If a place is too far out I have a feeling with the high gas prices people aren't going to drive there. I'm hoping this booth will be great for you and maybe you can just stuff it full of your wonderful things and that will make up for those that don't want to or can't drive out to your place. Wishing you the best and blessings always, T
